Some stories begin with a plan.
Mine began with a gift.

Years ago, my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, gave me a camera. I didn’t think much of it at first. But the moment I looked through that lens, something changed. The world felt quieter, more intentional. I started noticing things I had never paid attention to before. The way people smiled when they thought no one was looking. The pauses between words. The moments that pass quickly, but somehow stay with you.

That was the beginning.

I started filming weddings in the Philippines, not really knowing where it would lead, only knowing that I loved what I was seeing and capturing. Every wedding felt different. Every couple had their own story, their own rhythm, their own way of loving each other. I found myself drawn to the in-between moments. The deep breath before walking down the aisle. The glance across the room. The quiet kind of love that doesn’t need to be explained.

Then life brought my wife and me to the United States. Starting over wasn’t easy. New place, new people, new beginnings. But I held onto the same thing that started it all. I kept filming. I kept telling stories.

Over time, I found my place again, one film at a time.

When I film a wedding, I don’t try to create moments. I look for them. I wait for them. Because the most meaningful parts of a wedding are often the ones you don’t plan. The laughter, the tears, the way everything feels all at once and then is gone before you know it.

For me, this has never just been about filming.
It’s about remembering.
It’s about holding on to something real.

So that years from now, you can come back to it… and feel it all over again.
